Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson III has a long history of using his social media platforms to call out fellow celebrities on issues big and small. He often makes Instagram posts of different celebrity news and poke fun at it in his caption.

With the recent allegations and lawsuits against his fellow rapper Sean “Diddy” Combs, 50 Cent is fully invested in calling him out, even going as far as teasing a new docuseries about the crimes Diddy is charged with.

50 Cent doesn’t hold back when it comes to Diddy—or plenty of other celebrities, for that matter. He’s known for his unapologetic style and is quick to call out anyone he’s got an issue with.

Here’s what we know so far.

50 Cent Goes After Diddy

Combs faces many serious accusations—and formal charges by the Department of Justice—including predatory behavior, assault, racketeering, kidnapping, arson, bribery, distribution of narcotics and controlled substances, among many others.

50 Cent went on a Diddy-trolling frenzy after news broke that Homeland Security raided the former Bad Boy Records executive’s Los Angeles, Miami, and New York homes.

On X, 50 posted photos of the raids with the caption:”Now it’s not Diddy do it, it’s Diddy done. They don’t come like that unless they got a case.”

But 50 had been trolling Diddy for months before the raids. In December of 2023, the In Da Club rapper announced that his production company, G-Unit Films and Production, had a documentary on Diddy’s alleged crimes in the works after singer Cassie brought one of the first high-profile lawsuits against Sean Diddy Combs. 50 also says all the proceeds from the documentary will be donated to victims of sexual assault and rape.

The documentary reportedly sparked a competitive bidding war among networks, with Netflix ultimately securing the rights.

No One Is Safe From 50 Cent’s Trolling

50 Cent doesn’t confine his trolling to Combs. He’s come after other celebrities too.

In March, 50 called out Jay-Z for laying low after Comb’s arrest, posting a picture of Jay-Z on a milk carton as though he were missing, captioning the photo “Anyone seen jay LOL Puff said [Jay-Z] ain’t answering his phone.”

50 followed on in May, posting a picture of the Big Pimpin‘ rapper with the caption “Jay in hibernation he ain’t coming outside till this sh*t with puff blow over.”

On X, Jackson braved the wrath of the Beyhive with a post poking fun of Beyoncé’s new country album, Cowboy Carter. Jackson joked that he could do country better than Beyoncé alongside a country remix of his debut song In Da Club.

He’s also had a long-standing feud with boxer Floyd Mayweather, often implying—and mocking him for—being illiterate.

“This is a special ALSELS challenge for you Floyd, if you can read one full page of a Harry Potter book [expletive], I’ll give $750,000 to whatever charitable organization you want to,” 50 said on social media in 2014. (Warning: 50 Cent uses explicit, offensive language in this video.)

In a follow up post, 50 tells Floyd he was lowering the stakes of his challenge. “We don’t want to put pressure on you. We know you can’t pronounce those words in the Harry Potter book, so we’re going to let you read Cat in the Hat.”

Mayweather did not take 50 up on his challenge.

Did 50 Cent Take It Too Far?

Despite the trolling and comedic nature of the posts, 50 often makes good points underneath the sarcasm and jokes. Given his own A-lister status, it seems plausible that 50 has first-hand experience with what goes on behind closed doors in the music industry.

Reddit comment, user who posted it deleted their account.

Fans and spectators alike look forward to his reactions and take on certain topics.

While some think that he takes his trolling and antics too far, others find him wildly entertaining. Overall, 50’s reputation is well in tact. His 2023 Final Lap tour made the second rapper in history to bring in over $100 million in ticket sales. To boot: 50 hadn’t even put out new music in over six years at the time the tour commenced.

But one thing is certain: We’ll be hearing more from Curtis Jackson in the future.
