Netflix understood the assignment this holiday season, delivering exactly what we didn’t know we needed: a lineup of brand-new Christmas movies.

Overflowing with festive vibes (and just the right amount of cheesiness), these flicks are already making waves on the Netflix Top 10 charts before the turkey was even carved. And let’s be real—they’re basically guaranteed to become your guilty-pleasure holiday staples.

Grab your fluffiest blanket, your warmest drink, and settle in—it’s officially holiday movie season.

Hot Frosty

First up is Hot Frosty, starring Hallmark queen and Mean Girls alum Lacey Chabert (yes, Gretchen Wieners herself). In this wintery romp, Chabert plays Kathy, a small-town local who stumbles upon a courtyard of snowmen, each uniquely sculpted.

But one particular frosty figure catches her eye—a snowman with chiseled abs and biceps (literally carved from ice). Enchanted, Kathy wraps her own red scarf around him, setting the stage for what can only be described as a truly steamy holiday romance.

That night, the snowman comes to life as a man named Jack Snowman, played by Dustin Milligan, who is most notably known as Ted Mullens from Schitt’s Creek (2015). Things take a frosty-to-fiery turn when the snowman—now transformed into a man named Jack—realizes he’s got nothing on but Kathy’s red scarf. In his desperate quest for clothes, Jack breaks into a local store, accidentally flashing an elderly couple and sparking a town-wide scandal.

Cue the drama: two bumbling detectives are hot on his trail, leaving Kathy to figure out how to keep Jack hidden—and from melting—all while dodging questions about why her new “friend” keeps dripping all over town.

The modern, rom-com redo of Frosty the Snowman is cheesy and pretty unbelievable—it’s so bad, its amazing. This heartwarming rom-com is as laugh-out-loud funny as it is ridiculously charming—a total guilty pleasure I’ll be watching on repeat.

And whether or not others care to admit it, I’m not the only one obsessed. With over 24 million hours of viewing time in its debut week, Hot Frosty is already slaying the Netflix charts like Santa on a sugar high.

Meet Me Next Christmas

Next on the lineup is Meet Me Next Christmas, featuring singer and actor Christina Milian as Layla, a determined woman on a festive quest to snag the most coveted tickets of the season—the sold-out Pentatonix Christmas Eve Concert.

Layla strikes a charming pact with the dashing James: if they’re both still single next year, they’ll meet at the Pentatonix Christmas Eve concert. Fast forward to the following holiday season—Layla’s ditched her no-good boyfriend just in time, but there’s one tiny problem: she didn’t snag a ticket. Now, she’s in a mad dash across New York City to reunite with James before the concert—and fate—passes her by.

If you’ve somehow missed the memo on Pentatonix, let us catch you up: they’re a wildly talented a cappella group known for their stunning harmonies and show-stopping Christmas albums. Their music adds a magical touch to this movie, pairing perfectly with the sparkling visuals and heartwarming love story that will have you swooning by the end.

Meet Me Next Christmas debuted at No.1 of Netflix’s Top 10 movies, racking up 32 million hours worth of view time in its first week.

The Merry Gentlemen

Chad Michael Murray is back, and he’s serving up all the heart-fluttering vibes that made us fall in love with him in the early 2000s. Whether you’re a fan of One Tree Hill or still swooning over A Cinderella Story, The Merry Gentlemen is a love letter to Chad Michael Murray’s heartthrob era with a merry little twist.

In The Merry Gentlemen, Ashley (Britt Robertson) is on a mission to save her family’s beloved small-town venue. To bring in some much-needed cash, she gets the idea to host a racy male dancer event. Murray plays the family’s tax accountant helping her navigate the contract process…just kidding—he’s one of the dancers.

Ashley starts crushing on Luke, a loyal patron of the venue for years who has always lent a helping hand to Ashley and her parents. This time, Ashley has a Magic Mike-esque request of him.

We won’t spoil the ending, but let’s just say—even if we did, the real reason to tune in is Chad Michael Murray’s dance moves.

As a lifelong fan of cheesy Christmas flicks, I can confidently say this is the best batch of holiday movies Netflix has dropped in years.

Slip into your favorite PJs, whip up some festive hot chocolate, and bring on he yuletide cheer.
