Grammy award-winning artist Doja Cat recently celebrated the 5th anniversary of her chart-topping breakthrough second album, Hot Pink, by unveiling her unique collaboration with Sony Music.
The superstar has taken over Nitewave, a vibey, music-themed island whipped up by the Sony Immersive Music Studios team. Fans are throwing down in an epic battle to dominate the music and vibe of the Doja Cat arena. Think Capture the Flag—but make it pop.
Two teams of six players face off to take control of the sphere and, honestly, the bragging rights.
The showdown is set: Team Hot Pink versus Team Scarlet, named after two of Doja’s most polarizing albums. Whoever dominates the sphere calls the shots on the island’s playlist and aesthetics, channeling the dueling forces of Doja’s creative universe. Chaos and stanning are inevitable.
The YouTube trailer is an explosion in color and attitude, showcasing Doja-designed map features alongside sleek custom back bling, contrails, and more. In true Doja fashion, she complemented the drop with era-inspired photos and stunning new art.
Speaking of albums, fans were caught by surprise when Doja posted and deleted an album tracklist for what many hope is her next album.
Fans couldn’t miss the five starred tracks—Cards, Acts of Service, Make It Up, Did I Lie, and Crack—the last of which provided the soundtrack to the fleeting post.
Fans were quick to capture the tracklist before Doja deleted it, with her cryptic follow up tweets on X providing confirmation.
The first came in late October when she wiped her account clean and shared a single word: “album.”
The second tweet following the tracklist release reads: “Songs are in no particular order. Starred my favorites.”
In the past year, the eclectic superstar dropped Scarlet and its reissue, Scarlet 2: Claude. It peaked at number 4 on the Billboard Hot 200 and at number 2 on the Top RnB/Hiphop Album.
Doja supported the albums with a U.S. and U.K. tour that began in October 2023 and ended in September 2024. The Scarlet Tour featured Doechii and Ice Spice as guest acts.
The album, praised by critics and boasting chart-topping singles like Paint the Town Red (her first solo No.1) and Agora Hills (a top 10 hit), left many shocked when Doja Cat earned zero nominations at the 2025 Grammy Awards.

In other news about the starlet, it seems Doja got her 2022 wish fulfilled as pictures dropped of the singer on a date with Stranger Things actor Joesph Quinn.
Back in 2022, Doja took her shot at actor Joseph Quinn through his co-star Noah Schnapp’s DMs, but things quickly went sideways when Noah posted the conversation online, leading to Doja to respond with a TikTok live to address what she saw as a violation of social conduct and privacy.
“The fact that Noah did that, like went and posted a private conversation between me and him is like so unbelievably socially unaware and whack,” she says. To be fair, at the time, Noah was only 17 years old.
Luckily, while the drama delayed their meeting, it didn’t stop it—photos surfaced of the two strolling through the streets of London, hands intertwined.
In September, fan pages were aflutter with news that she was engaged to the actor after she flashed a ring on her wedding finger while performing at the 2024 iHeart Radio Music Festival.
But the starlet quickly shut the story down, explaining that it was a “rockless” David Yurman ring.
