Flavor Flav took a look at his clock and decided it was time to save America. After reading some shocking tweets posted by members of the USA Women’s Water Polo team, the rapper was determined to help. He became an official sponsor and started doing everything he could to support them.

In one of his tweets, the rapper writes, “The US Women’s Water Polo team has won the GOLD MEDAL THREE OLYMPICS IN A ROW,,, these women should not have to be working 2-3 side jobs to be able to compete.”

Having someone with his influence and social media following speak on this is bringing much-needed awareness to the reality these athletes are facing.

The Director of Marketing for the USA water polo team said, “Flavor Flav’s star power and passion for supporting athletes will bring a new level of excitement and visibility to water polo. We are thrilled to welcome him to the USA Water Polo family.”

His dedication to Team USA didn’t stop at women’s water polo, he rooted for all US teams and has been actively promoting the Paralympics.

Flavor Flav Is a Major Swifty

At the Video Music Awards (VMAs) last Wednesday, Flavor Flav presented the award for best collaboration to Taylor Swift and Post Malone for their song “Fortnight.”

Before presenting the award, he used the time he had to honor USA gymnast Jordan Chiles, who he and many others believe was unfairly stripped of her first individual Olympic medal.

Flavor Flav is very public about his admiration for Swift and her music. At the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony, he rocked a custom baby blue 1989 cardigan.

Yes, he also had a matching clock made to go with it.

Before the Olympics, he reached out to Swift’s team to inquire about getting the water polo team tickets for her upcoming The Eras Tour in Paris. When he found out Swift’s team had already approved tickets for the whole team, his respect for the artist grew even stronger.

Flavor Flav is always ready to defend Taylor when given the chance. They don’t call him “King Swiftie” for nothing.

After Swift publicly endorsed Kamala Harris, Donald Trump tweeted, “I HATE TAYLOR SWIFT!” On the contrary, Flavor Flav tweeted, “I LOVE TAYLOR SWIFT!”

It seems the only red party that he’s interested in saving is a party at Red Lobster.

Regardless of political affiliation, it’s hard not to feel at least a little patriotic when Flavor Flav is a hype man for the Team USA at the Olympics and Paralympics. Everyone can get behind his message, which is to spread love and bring more attention to the talented and hard-working women competing in the Olympics.
