From classic Hollywood tributes to elaborate makeup and themed couples’ outfits, here’s a roundup of some of the best—and most talked-about—celebrity costumes from Halloween 2024.

While it was fun to look at, one really stole the show. That celebrity is well known for her love of going all-out on Halloween, but we’ll get back to that in a moment.

Celebrities posted their looks to social media en masse. Adele looked amazing as Morticia Gomez. Megan thee Stallion put out two looks: A comic-accurate Starfire from DC Comic’s Teen Titans and the second being a character from the anime Jojo’s Bizarre Adventures

The Icy girl herself, Saweetie, posted photos and a video of her as Heath Ledger’s Joker, and it was perfect.

When it comes to the spooky spirit, rapper Tyga takes the cake for scariest get up. The rapper was unrecognizable in his full-send, spot-on costume of The Babadook. (Warning though: Tyga’s costume is legit scary.)

Heidiween and E.T.s Everywhere

As promised, there was one celebrity who defended throne as the undisputed queen of Halloween (or should we say ‘Heidiween’): Heidi Klum.

Klum popped out as an almost life-like recreation of the alien E.T., complete with a blonde wig and the iconic finger light (of “phone…home” fame).

Heidi hosted her annual Halloween bash at the Hard Rock Hotel in New York City with her husband, Tom Kaulitz. Kaulitz was also went all out with his wife in an E.T. costume, making them a matching pair.

Surprisingly, Klum and husband weren’t the only celebes who were E.T. for Halloween.

It seems that no one put out memos of their costume choice, because artist Janelle Monáe, another strong contender for the title of Halloween queen, appeared on The Jennifer Hudson show in a totally convincing E.T. outfit complete with the finger and voice to match.

Halleween

They weren’t the only people to rock the same look; Halle Bailey, Tyla, and Coi Leray chose different looks from the ever-graceful Halle Berry.

Bailey went as Berry in the James Bond film Die Another Day; Tyla went as her in The Flintstones, and Coi chose to go as Catwoman.

Berry reposted their looks, saying they all crushed it and made her day.

Jessica Rabbit

There was the customary Jessica Rabbit outfit from not one but three people: Chloë Bailey, Latto, and Cardi B.

All three looked amazing. Later in the evening, Chloë traded her sparkly red dress for an orange sweater and glasses to team up with her sister as Daphne and Velma from Scooby Doo.

Celebrities Dressing Up As Each Other

Beyoncé posted as music icons Bette Davis and Prince, while Kim Kardashian chose to become an albino crocodile with the help of some talented prosthetics.

Meanwhile, Kim’s sister Kendall Jenner got with bestie Hailey Bieber to recreate The Simple Life as Paris and Nicole.

Mrs. Bieber also posted a couple’s costume with her husband Justin as Ron Stoppable and Kim Possible. Paris Hilton paid homage to Uma Turman and recreated the poster for the cult classic film Pulp Fiction.

Family Fun

There were quite a few celebs who dressed up with their children. Halle Bailey and her son Halo appeared as throwback characters from Disney’s 2002 animated movie Lilo and Stitch.

Former Little Mix star Perrie Edwards brought her three-year-old son out for a duo costume as Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars from the recent collab Die with a Smile.

On to the Next, Featuring Mariah Carey

We hadn’t even blown the candle in our jack-o-lantern out when Mariah Carey officially ended the spooky season. Carey announced the commencement of of her holiday season, Christmas.

In a hilarious video released to her socials, she dances around with a Gomez-type man before announcing, ‘It’s time!!!’
